چکیده
Abstract Cellular structures are a favorite selection for the design of lightweight components and energy absorption applications due to several advantages such as their customizable stiffness strength. In this investigation, functionally graded (FG) triply periodic minimal surfaces, Schoen-IWP (SIWP), Schwarz primitive (SPrim) cellular were fabricated by masked stereolithography (MSLA) technique using ABS-like gray resin. The sample morphology, deformation behavior, mechanical characteristics, uniform studied experimental compression tests. FG exhibited layer-by-layer collapse delaying shear failure. On other hand, samples showed complete diagonal total densification point was 0.52 MJ/m 3 0.58 SIWP, respectively. Additionally, absorbed SPrim structure 0.59 while one 0.27 . investigations that more with high strain during test.

Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) structures have already been shown to be a versatile source of biomorphic scaffold designs. Therefore, in this work, Ti-6Al-4V Gyroid and Diamond TPMS lattices having an interconnected high porosity of 80-95% and pore sizes in the range of 560-1600 μm and 480-1450 μm respectively were manufactured by selective laser melting (SLM) for bone implants. The man...

1. Abstract Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) possess continuously graded material properties and are characterized by spatially varying microstructures. Such materials are studied in conjunction with the concept of topology optimization design which determines holes and connectivities of the structure by adding and removing material in the extended fixed design domain. The objective is to d...
متن کاملIntegrated Design and Simulation of Tunable, Multi-State Structures Fabricated Monolithically with Multi-Material 3D Printing
Multi-material 3D printing has created new opportunities for fabricating deployable structures. We design reversible, deployable structures that are fabricated flat, have defined load bearing capacity, and multiple, predictable activated geometries. These structures are designed with a hierarchical framework where the proposed bistable actuator serves as the base building block. The actuator is...
متن کاملFluid permeabilities of triply periodic minimal surfaces.
It has recently been shown that triply periodic two-phase bicontinuous composites with interfaces that are the Schwartz primitive (P) and diamond (D) minimal surfaces are not only geometrically extremal but extremal for simultaneous transport of heat and electricity. The multifunctionality of such two-phase systems has been further established by demonstrating that they are also extremal when a...
متن کاملConstruction of Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces
We discuss the construction of triply period minimal surfaces. This includes concepts for constructing new examples as well as a discussion of numerical computations based on the new concept of discrete minimal surfaces. As a result we present a wealth of old and new examples and suggest directions for further generalizations.
